December, 2015
Started December with the Grade 4 Assembly
ALOT of work, the students did great!

 Got my tree up and decorated. I really like it!

I am not traveling like most of the teachers I am having a Stay-cation and it is probably the smartest thing I have done

I am still tutoring and actually going twice a week. Other than that I am resting, napping, cooking and spending time with friends. I will probably try to get some stuff done for school in a day or 2.

For Christmas Eve I spent it with the Mullanex's and Christmas Dinner I had with the Knutson's I am truly blessed to have meet such great people here in Kuwait

October 28th & 29th
The school flooded on the 28th I had a total of 11 students come to school and never had more than 7 at a time. The 29th school was canceled because of flooding, except for staff we had a professional development day.

November 3rd My birthday my friends surprised me with delicious cupcakes and then on Thursday night we went to Room of clues. That was so much fun. They tell you a story and then lock you in a room and your group has to find clues to find what the story tells you, you need. You only have 1 hour to do it. We had a great time!!!! We got dinner after and sat and talked. 

November 14th I went with some friends to the Discovery Museum and went through the aquarium. I will add pictures later. There are some pretty good pictures of the sharks.

November 24th & 25th Parent Conferences. Pretty much the same as back home.

November 26th Thanksgiving I was invited to the Us Embassy for Thanksgiving. It was great there were a lot of people and it was very relaxing and nice. I spent a few hours on US soil.

Galbraith family tradition made it to Kuwait. I was not feeling well and my friend Shel was not feeling well so I decided we needed home Chicken noodle soup!

I spent 2 hours on Skype, and was able to Skype with my students from last School year. Thank you Shannon Griffin to set that up. it was a lot of fun. So glad we did it.

I was called to be the Second Counselor in the Young Women's Presidency.

I started a tutoring job. Sunday evening for 1 hour a week. It pays for my maid. Who also started today. I cam home tonight and I am very much and organized person, I had my spices all set up they way I like them and then I came home and found this:They are all pushed back and no longer organized. My maid was just doing her work and cleaning but it did hurt a little bit especially my OCD of having everything organized. But I love having a maid!

I met a guy at the grocery store today at LuLu's. We flirted we exchanged numbers.
We talked for the weekend and then I ended things, he wanted what I wouldn't give (enough about that)


October 24, 2015 I adopted 2 Street Cats
 


Orange one is Gizmo and the Black one is Mogwai.

Udate: Gizmo passed away November 2nd.  End of November I found Mowgai a great new home with kids and family who love her. She really needed more attention and now she has it. They changed her name to Lola!

Just as we finished dinner and started to head back to the car the wind started to really blow. We where in the middle of a sand storm. My friend Robyn did a great job of driving and getting us home safely. This is a video I got from Robyn. No she was not driving and recording.

I went with some friends to the Old Souq. Lots of fun and different things.  
This was my dinner. Chicken Tikka and a Salad. The problem with the salad lots of cucumber which unfortunately I don't like, but aside from that dinner was very yummy.
This is Chicken Machine and how they cook it. Some of them you can see the whole chicken and they'll have several on each one.
